About me
Coach Joseph Tran brings over 13 years of volleyball experience to the court, with a passion for developing athletes and fostering competitive team culture. A former Outside Hitter from El Modena High School, Coach Tran's deep understanding of the game translates into high-level coaching for both the girls and boys volleyball programs at Loara High School.
He has helped guide both teams to CIF playoff appearances, including a second-round run with the girls team, proving his ability to lead and motivate athletes at the highest level of high school competition.
Coach Tran is driven by a commitment to work ethic and discipline, summed up in his coaching motto:
“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.”
With a strong technical foundation and a player-first mindset, Coach Tran aims to instill confidence, resilience, and a relentless drive for improvement in every athlete he coaches.
