Owner & Director – Elevation Elite Volleyball Club
With over 20 years of coaching experience, Coach Jose Ceja is a highly respected figure in the Southern California volleyball community. He has served as Head Coach for both the boys and girls volleyball programs at Anaheim High School for the past 10 years, establishing a tradition of excellence and competitive success.
Under his leadership, Anaheim has made multiple CIF playoff appearances since 2015, including two semifinal finishes, and captured an impressive six consecutive undefeated league titles with the boys team. His impact has earned him Coach of the Year honors five times, reflecting his dedication to athlete development and high-level performance.
In addition to his high school achievements, Coach Ceja brings six years of club coaching experience and led a team to a 2nd Place finish at the 2023 Nationals. He has coached at Stanton University, volunteered at Chapman University, and is a certified Gold Medal Squared (GMS) Coach, known for applying advanced strategies and skill development.
As the Owner and Director of Elevation Elite Volleyball Club, Coach Ceja extends his passion beyond the school setting—creating opportunities for athletes to train, compete, and grow in a high-performance environment year-round.
Born and raised in Anaheim, California, he is deeply rooted in the community. In 2019, the Anaheim High School volleyball program doubled in size under his guidance. Today, he proudly shares co-head coaching duties with his brother, Coach Oscar Ceja, continuing to build one of the region’s most competitive and respected volleyball programs.
