About me

Coach Yuritzi Aviles is a passionate coach and former athlete with over nine years of volleyball experience, including one year competing at the collegiate level. An Anaheim High School alumna, she played all four years on the varsity team and served as team captain for three of those years.

Her determination, leadership, and love for the game earned her numerous honors, including Orange League Offensive Player of the Year (2023), Orange League MVP (2024–2025), and Anaheim High School Senior All-Star Player (2024–2025).

Coach Yuri is committed to developing athletes through disciplined, high-energy practices that emphasize strong fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. She believes that success comes from dedication, consistency, and the willingness to push beyond your limits.

As she says in her coaching motto:

“It’s not about how bad you want it. It’s about how hard you’re willing to work for it.”

With unwavering determination and a strong mindset, Coach Yuri aims to create confident, disciplined, and resilient athletes who are prepared to compete at their highest level. Her goal is to inspire every player to embrace challenges, trust the process, and discover their full potential—both on and off the court.
